In pictures: Remembrance poppy displays in the South
Julie Naylor / The Veterans Hub Community CafeThe south of England is marking Remembrance Day with poppy displays appearing across the region.
Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day commemorate the end of World War One and the lives of all armed forces members who have died in service.
Individuals and community groups of volunteers have taken up creative craft projects over many months to help design the displays.
Some installations feature as many as 28,000 hand-made poppies.

The New Forest, Hampshire
Sophie Neville
Sophie NevilleProject designer Steph Glen said the prayer banners at St. John's church in Boldre are "mounted to represent prayer flags of the type you might see outdoors in Himalayan communities".
He said: "The vertical ones we have designed are called Darchogs, and are used to bless the surrounding countryside and promote peace.
"As they are blown by the wind, they are said to spread compassion to all."
There are 48 to honour the 48 named servicemen in the churchyard.
"The Tibetans believed that the Darchog becomes part of the universe so the flag will fade and get torn by the elements.
"We intend to keep them in place for the entire three weeks of the Remembrance celebration, even if they get a bit tattered towards the end of that time," he added.
