Pedestrian dies after collision with car

A pedestrian has died after a collision with a car in Amersham.

Thames Valley Police was called to the incident on Whielden Lane in the Buckinghamshire town at about 23:15 BST on Saturday.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, died at the scene.

Thames Valley Police said the driver of a grey Toyota Corolla involved in the crash was not injured and no arrests have been made.

The force appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage from the area.
