Man dies in crash between motorbike and car

A man has died in a crash between a motorbike and a car, police have said.

The crash happened on the B3181 near Cullompton, Devon, at about 12:45 BST on Saturday, officers said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said a motorbike rider, a man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for about eight hours for an investigation, said the force.

Witnesses or anyone with information was asked to contact police.
