Teenage motorcyclist seriously hurt in van crash
GoogleA teenager suffered life-threatening injuries when he was involved in a collision with a van while he was riding a motorcycle, police have said.
The 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital after the collision on Ovenden Way in Halifax at about 18:00 BST on Wednesday, according to West Yorkshire Police.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and had since been released on bail, a force spokesperson said.
Two other people on the motorbike, who left the scene before police arrived, had since been identified and were confirmed to not be seriously injured, officers added.
Anyone with information about what happened, or who had dashcam footage of the incident, was asked to contact the police.
