Woman dead and three in hospital after crash

A woman has died following a single-car crash in Glasgow which left three others in hospital.

Kennishead Road in Thornliebank was closed for about nine hours following the incident involving a black Vauxhall Astra at about 19:25 on Sunday.

Police Scotland said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other women, aged 18 and 33, and the male driver, 20, were taken to hospital for treatment.

The road has since reopened and police have launched an appeal for information.
