Unknown substance poured on car damages paintwork

Police are appealing for information after an unknown substance was poured over a car causing the paintwork to peel.

The parked vehicle was damaged in Blackfriars in Sudbury, Suffolk, sometime between 19 and 21 September.

The owner had been left with "a substantial repair bill", police added.

Detectives have asked anyone with information or footage that could help with their inquiries to get in touch.
