Murder arrest after death of man found at home

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man was found at a home in Worcestershire with serious injuries.

Officers were called to Wylds Lane, Worcester, shortly after 21:00 BST on Tuesday, where they found the victim, believed to be 42-year-old Damian Buczek.

He was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

On Thursday, a 46-year-old man was arrested and remained in custody, West Mercia Police said.

"We understand that an incident of this nature will cause concern within the local community and I would continue to appeal to anyone who may have information that could assist our investigation to come forward," Det Ch Insp Gareth Lougher said.

The force wanted to hear from anyone who saw Buczek between Monday and Tuesday, including anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage on Wylds Lane, he added.
