Police officer injured after marked vehicle crashes with car

A police officer has been injured after a marked vehicle was involved in a crash with a car in Grangemouth.

The officer was taken to hospital with a non life-threatening injury following the incident, which happened at about 11:00.

The junction of Glensburgh Road and Forth Clyde Way was closed at Dalgrain Road and Earlsgate roundabout as a result of the collision, but reopened at about 16:30.

Police Scotland said another officer had been taken to hospital as a precaution.

A spokesperson for the force said there were no other reported injuries.
