Man due in court after alleged car park stabbing

A 22-year-old has been charged with wounding after a man was allegedly stabbed in the back.

William Keeling, of Springbank in Cheltenham, has also been charged with possession of a bladed article and common assault. He is set to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court later.

It follows an incident in a car park in Rodney Road in Cheltenham shortly after 06:00 BST on Thursday.

The victim, who is in his 20s and from Gloucester, remains in a stable but serious condition in hospital, according to Gloucestershire Police.
