Second person dies after four-vehicle crash on A82 in Highlands

A second person has died following a crash on the A82 at Glen Gloy in Lochaber earlier this month.

The accident happened at about 12:00 on Monday 6 July and involved a Skoda Karoq, a Range Rover Sport, a Hyundai i10 and a lorry.

The 62-year-old male driver of the Range Rover Sport was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a 62-year-old woman, was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but has since died.

No-one else needed hospital treatment.

Sgt Ewan Calder said: "Our inquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash.

"I am again appealing to anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the collision to contact us.

"Likewise, if you have dashcam, please check your footage for anything which could assist our investigation."
