A woman has been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash closed a road for about eight hours.

Northamptonshire Police said it happened on the A605 between Titchmarsh and Oundle, at 11:12 BST on Friday. The road reopened at about 19:00.

It said the incident involved a woman driving a Ford Fiesta and a BYD vehicle, both travelling towards Titchmarsh, and a white Volvo V90 travelling in the opposite direction. After the crash the Fiesta left the road and landed on its roof.

The force appealed for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
