Seven vehicles damaged in suspected arson attack

Seven vehicles have been damaged in a suspected arson attack in a village in County Londonderry.

Police and firefighters were alerted to the incident outside a house in the Gelvin Road area of Garvagh shortly before 4:20 BST on Thursday.

"There were no reports of any injuries, although extensive damage was caused to seven vehicles," police said.

They described it as a "reckless act" and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
