More than 50 people have been charged in the latest crackdown on criminal and anti-social biking in Aberdeen.

Police said the operation targeted e-motorcycles, adapted e-bikes and e-scooters, as well as petrol motorcycles across the city.

A total of 53 people were charged in connection with a variety of road traffic offences and 38 vehicles were seized.

The clampdown was between 14 September and 2 October.

Police Scotland said the community action team had carried out patrols and executed search warrants.

They worked alongside the roads policing department, the aviation support unit and special constables.

Youth volunteers are also said to have also helped with leaflet drops in a bid to raise public awareness about the ongoing issues.
