Flood warnings and water shortages after storm
Getty ImagesA flood warning has been issues for parts of West Sussex, while thousands in Kent are without water, following Storm Boelo.
High tides and strong winds are expected to cause flooding in the coastal areas of Bosham and West Itchenor, including Chidham, Broadbridge, and Bosham Hoe at around 11:00 GMT on Monday.
According to the Government's website, it will affect Shore Road, Bosham High Street and Gloucester Terrace, with residents urged to "activate any flood protection products they may have".
In addition, thousands in the Benenden area of Tunbridge Wells have "low water pressure or no water" as a result of South East Water (SEW) "experiencing issues at the local Mounts Hill booster site".
The firm said it is "working to resolve the problem", but "replacement equipment is needed to complete a full repair to the pumps affecting drinking water supplies" to the affected properties.
SEW added that the issues are expected to continue into Monday and they have been "using a tanker to inject water directly into the network" since around midnight on Sunday.
Southern WaterElsewhere, "complex repairs" on a burst water main in the Swattenden Lane area of Cranbrook have now been completed, a spokesperson said.
"We are now returning water to the area in a slow and controlled manner to avoid further issues or bursts in the area.
"It is anticipated water to this wider area will be restored on Monday morning."
Bottled water was also delivered to those affected.
It comes after Boelo, the UK's second named storm of the season, hit the South East over the weekend - coming just one day after Storm Austen.
It brought heavy rain and powerful winds that uprooted trees, blocking roads and damaging power cables.
Thousands of properties across the region have been left without electricity, although supplies are expected to return throughout Monday, according to the UK Power Networks (UKPN) website.
