E-bike crash leaves man 'critically injured'

An e-bike rider has sustained life-threatening injuries following a crash in Grimsby, police said.

Humberside Police said they received a report at 12:30 BST on Saturday that an e-bike travelling along Crosby Road towards Wainfleet Road was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall van.

Officers said the rider of the e-bike, a 22-year-old man, sustained serious injuries thought to be life threatening.

The force has appealed for witnesses and people with dashcam or CCTV footage to contact them.
