Hunt for relatives of boy found in McDonald's

A young boy has been found unattended in a McDonald's in Leeds, police have said.

Officers were called to the Briggate branch just before 10:00 BST following reports the child, thought to be about eight years old, was by himself.

According to the force, he is called Sebastian and is described to be of black heritage and wearing an orange T-shirt, grey shorts and blue ear defenders. He was holding a Sonic the Hedgehog stuffed toy.

The boy is safe and being cared for by authorities but officers said they had been unable to trace his relatives.
