Traffic was disrupted on the A11 after a vehicle caught fire.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at about 16:37 BST to the dual carriageway near Thetford and managed to extinguish the blaze by 17:10.

Don Grunbaum, from East Harling, Norfolk, said he was held up in traffic near the vehicle fire for about 45 minutes, but it had now cleared.

The fire service said crews wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to put out the fire just before the Gallows Hill roundabout in Thetford.
