Man dead after crash between motorcycle and lorry

A man has died following a two-vehicle crash in Markethill, County Armagh.

The collision, involving a motorcycle and a lorry, happened on the Coolmillish Road and was reported to police at about 11:40 BST on Friday.

Ambulance staff and firefighters also attended the incident.

"Sadly the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene," said Det Insp Stewart from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).

The Coolmillish Road, which was closed for a time, has since reopened.

Police say their enquiries are ongoing and have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
