A 61-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a "medical emergency" in the early hours of Sunday morning.

North Wales Police said officers were called at 03:49 GMT to a residential property on Morawelon Road in Holyhead, on Anglesey, by the Welsh Ambulance Service.

Det Insp Rob Mahoney said the force was treating it as an "isolated incident" and there was no ongoing threat to the wider community.

He added there would be increased police presence in the area while detectives continued to "investigate the circumstances of this incident".

The arrested man remains in custody and police asked anyone with information to contact them.
