£20k reward to trace man over Primrose Hill death

The Metropolitan Police is offering a £20,000 reward to help track a man wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old film student in Primrose Hill.

Finbar Sullivan, 21, was wounded during an alleged altercation at the north London beauty spot on the evening of 7 April.

Det Insp Andy Griffin said the force wanted the public's help to urgently trace 22-year-old Jordan Asije.

Three men have been charged over Sullivan's death, which they all deny. They were previously remanded into custody ahead of a trial set to begin in April next year.

Griffin said that while detectives had made "significant progress", their investigation into the stabbing continues.

"As part of this work, a reward of up to £20,000 is now being offered to encourage the public to help us arrest everyone we believe was involved," he said.

"No piece of information is too small and what may appear insignificant to you, could prove vital to our inquiries."

In a direct appeal to Asije, he said: "Jordan, if you are reading this, I urge you to do the right thing and hand yourself in at the nearest police station."

Griffin added that anyone assisting Asije evade arrest "may be committing a criminal offence".

Asije does not pose a risk to the wider public, but "should not be approached", the Met said.

Ernest Boateng, 25, Alexis Bidace, 25, and Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, all denied the murder and manslaughter of Sullivan, as well as violent disorder, when they appeared at the Old Bailey via video link in June.
