Roads have been closed while crews tackle a large industrial unit fire.

Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at about 03:20 BST to reports of a blaze on the Watermill Industrial Estate in Buntingford.

Crews have prevented the fire spreading to other units, but 10 engines and an aerial ladder platform remain at the scene to tackle the flames, the fire service said.

Large plumes of smoke have been billowing from the scene, with residents advised to keep windows and doors closed. Road closures have been put in place on Aspenden Road and London Road.

No-one was injured and there was no-one on site when the fire started, the service said.
