Fire crews tackle blaze at industrial unit
WYFRSFire crews are tackling a blaze at an industrial unit in Bradford which spread to three buildings and forced several road closures.
The fire broke out on Walker Place in Shipley just before 10:30 BST, according to West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service. At its height, eight crews were at the scene.
Roads closures include Walker Place and Thackley Old Road, West Yorkshire Police said. No injuries have been reported, with remaining crews damping down hot spots.
A business owner on Thackley Old Road said the fire was believed to have started in a building containing pallets before it spread to neighbouring properties.
He said: "It's the nature of where they are and they are old buildings.
"If there's a fire it's like a tinderbox."
The public were asked to avoid the area, with fire investigators also in attendance.
