Firefighters tackling large fire near road

Cornwall Fire Service said crews were called to the blaze at about 15:13

Firefighters are dealing with a large blaze near the A30 and A39 in Cornwall.

Crews were called to the fire near Carland Cross, north of Truro, shortly after 15:00 BST.

Six fire engines were in attendance along with a water carrier, said Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service.

Emergency services remain at the scene while the fire is ongoing, said the service.
