Dispersal order issued after anti-social behaviour
Google mapsA dispersal order has been introduced in Haltemprice after reports of anti-social behaviour, police said.
The order gives police the power to order a person to leave the area and not return for up to 48 hours.
It covers East Riding Leisure Haltemprice, leisure centre, King George V playing fields and surrounding streets.
The order came into effect at 17:00 BST on Friday and will be in place for 48 hours until 17:00 on Sunday.
Police said a dispersal order was also issued for the area last weekend, to "prevent disorder and disruption in our local community".
Officers said the area was already subject of a Public Space Protection Order and warned alcohol is not allowed to be consumed on the fields.
Police encouraged people to enjoy the sunshine lawfully and said they would pass any breaches on to East Riding of Yorkshire Council for enforcement action.
