Man denies stirring migrant hatred and kill threats
BBCA man has denied stirring up racial hatred against migrants and making threats to kill.
Brandon Watson, 26 and from Carlisle, faces a total of eight charges from between January and April this year, the city's crown court heard,
One charge alleges he shared recordings using threatening, abusive or insulting language to stir up racial hatred, while another accuses him of racially aggravated harassment of people he perceived to be migrants.
Watson, of Milbourne Street was remanded into custody with a trial date set for 2 November.
He is also accused of causing racially aggravated fear or provocation of violence to a woman on 17 September last year based on his belief she was of Asian heritage.
