Three arrested after man shot in both arms

Police have made three arrests after a man suffered gunshot wounds to both his arms.

Officers were called to reports of a firearms discharge on Cambrian Street in the Holbeck area of Leeds at about 22:00 BST on 1 September. The man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Three men, two aged 19 and one age 21, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and remain in custody, West Yorkshire Police said.

The force added: "Two 26-year-old men who were previously arrested in connection with this incident have now been interviewed and released facing no further action."
