Child seriously injured in fall from window

A boy has been seriously injured in fall from a window.

Police received reports at 16:16 BST on Saturday about concern over the welfare of a child on Spotland Tops in Rochdale.

Emergency services attended the scene and the child was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical condition.

Greater Manchester Police said inquiries into the full circumstances around the incident were ongoing.
