Tributes to 'gentle soul' knocked over by his own van
Police handoutThe family of a man who died after being struck by his own van have paid tribute to him.
Lakhbir Bangha, 41, from West Bromwich, died in Doveridge Road in Stapenhill, Burton-on-Trent, on Friday.
Staffordshire Police said they were called to a single-vehicle crash involving a van and the driver was a pedestrian and out of the vehicle at the time.
His family said he would be remembered as "a bubbly, friendly and gentle soul who went out his way to always make everyone laugh".
They added: "Whether it was with his silly jokes or dances, he would have you laughing again in no time.
"His presence will be deeply missed by his sisters, brothers, mom, dad, uncle, aunties and his wider family.
"Our lives will never be the same without you."
Emergency crews went to the address at about 13:00 BST following reports of a collision.
Bangha was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Staffordshire Police said it was investigating the collision.
