Two drug dealers have been jailed after a drug haul worth more than £130,000 was discovered in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Peter Nwankwo, 50, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, admitted six charges of possession of drugs with intent to supply, and one of possession of criminal property.

Lamin Jallow, 46, of South Queensferry, West Lothian, Scotland, admitted one charge of possession with intent to supply and one of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.

The pair appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Wednesday, where Nwankwo was jailed for nine years and Jallow was jailed for five years and seven months.

While investigating an address in Hanley, where they arrested Nwankwo, officers found cocaine with an estimated street value up to £100,000, along with £9,850-worth of heroin and £26,660 of crack cocaine, as well as £27,385 in cash.

Officers found more cocaine, believed to be worth about £13,600, at an address in Basford where Jallow was arrested.

His car that was parked outside was also searched, where officers found cannabis, digital scales, a mobile phone and a wallet with £220 inside.
