Man charged with shooting girl, 17, in the legs

A man has been charged after a teenage girl was shot in the legs at a house.

The 17-year-old was injured in a shooting on Lime Grove in the Toxteth area of Liverpool on 12 March, Merseyside Police said.

The girl was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.

Ali Karadas, 20, of Denman Drive, has been charged with wounding with intent and possessing a firearm. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court later.
