Emergency services were called to West Angle Bay beach on Sunday

A woman died after being pulled from the water at a popular beach, police have said.

Concerns for the welfare of the 72-year-old were reported at about 15:15 BST on Sunday.

Dyfed-Powys Police said she had been pulled from the water at West Angle Beach in Pembrokeshire.

Emergency services were not able to save her, the force added.
