Two men charged after double house stabbing

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a man and a woman were stabbed at their home.

Northamptonshire Police said it related to an incident in Hertford Road, Kettering, in the early hours of Sunday, 19 April.

A spokesperson for the force said a 37-year-old from Kettering and a 19-year-old from Northampton were charged with two counts of attempted murder. The 37-year-old was also charged with possession of a shotgun shell.

Both men have been remanded in custody and were due at Northampton Crown Court on June 4.
