Four men arrested after town centre stabbings
GoogleFour people have been arrested after three people were stabbed and another was beaten unconscious in a town centre.
Northamptonshire Police said officers and paramedics were called to Gold Street in Kettering at about 20:35 BST following reports a 30-year-old woman had been stabbed outside The Peacock pub.
The force said they then found two men who had also been stabbed and a third man lying unconscious in the road near the entrance to Newlands Shopping Centre.
The four injured people were taken to Kettering General Hospital where one individual had surgery. The suspects were arrested on suspicion of assault and affray.
A 24-year-old man from Kettering was arrested on suspicion of three counts of grievous bodily harm.
Two men, aged 43 and 40, also from Kettering, and a 31-year-old man from Barton Seagrave were arrested on suspicion of affray.
Det Insp Wayne Preece appealed for anyone with information, including mobile phone, dashcam or CCTV footage, to get in touch.
"This was a very serious incident and a fast-moving investigation is now under way to find out what has happened," he said.
