A burst water main has left homes and businesses without water.

Residents and businesses, including farms, near Ledbury in Herefordshire began reporting a lack of water during the early hours of Saturday. Much Marcle was one of the areas affected.

Welsh Water said there was a burst water main affecting supplies in the Ledbury area. "We are aware of a burst on our network which is affecting supplies to this area," it added. "Until the pipe is fixed, you may experience low pressure or no water."

It said it expected supplies to be restored by late afternoon and apologised for any inconvenience caused. Some residents on social media reported water supplies getting back to normal later in the day.
