Man in 80s dies after village bus crash

A man in his 80s has died days after being hit by a bus in a village in Leicestershire.

On 24 August, Leicestershire Police said officers were called to Melton Road, Queniborough, at about 15:30 BST after receiving reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a bus.

The man was taken to hospital but died of his injuries on Tuesday, a force statement said.

Police have previously said no other people were reported injured and no arrests have been made, and said a file is now being prepared for the coroner.
