Man charged over rape of girl, 15, at Oban football pitch
GoogleA man has been charged over the rape of a 15-year-old girl in Oban.
Police were told the incident happened at a football pitch on Mossfield Avenue at about 23:15 on Saturday.
The force confirmed on Tuesday that a 25-year-old man had been arrested and charged and that a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Det Insp Karen MacLennan said: "I would like to thank the public for their assistance during our investigation."
