Police investigate sex assault on two teenage girls

Police are investigating a report that two teenage girls were sexually assaulted in Londonderry on Monday afternoon.

The incident is alleged to have taken place in Cedar Street in the city.

Police have described the suspect as a white male of slim build, with short dark hair and dental braces.

"He was dressed in a distinctive green Superdry hoodie with front logo, dark trousers and dark-coloured shoes," they said in a statement.

The police have appealed for information.
