A27 closed in both directions at Hove after crash
Eddie MitchellLong queues have been forming on the A27 in East Sussex after a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
The road has been closed in both directions near the Dyke Road roundabouts in Hove, according to Sussex Police.
National Highways South East reported at 13:15 BST that three-mile queues were taking 30 minutes to get through.
The west entry slip from the A23 at Patcham is also closed, the agency reported.
A police spokesperson said: "Emergency services are at the scene and the road is expected to be closed for some time while we work to understand the full circumstances."
They added: "Motorists are asked to find alternative routes and we are grateful for your patience while this is ongoing."
