Murder arrests after body found in former diner
GoogleTwo women have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was found at a former restaurant in Sheffield.
The 55-year-old's body was found inside the TGI Fridays building in Sheffield Road on Wednesday evening, South Yorkshire Police said.
Officers made the discovery when responding to reports of suspicious activity at the site, and said the two suspects, aged 35 and 54, had been arrested on Thursday.
Det Ch Insp Laura Procter said the man had yet to be formally identified but his family was aware and being supported by the force.
Appealing for witnesses, she added: "Officers have been conducting various enquiries since the man's body was sadly found, with the aim of building up a full picture of the circumstances which led up to this incident."
