A search for a man who is missing after getting into difficulty near a beach has been stood down.

It said the Polzeath and Boscastle Coastguard Rescue Teams, a coastguard helicopter and RNLI lifeboats from Padstow and Rock were called to the scene along with Devon and Cornwall Police and paramedics.
