Flower grower scoops 34th gold medal at Chelsea

Guernsey horticulturalist Raymond Evison has won gold for his clematis display at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Mr Evison, who has won 33 golds at previous shows, said his exhibit looked "outstanding".

"Our team did a great job, it's been a lot of hard work but it's paid off and ready we getting fantastic compliments," he said about his latest success.

He said the show was "really important" for growers to showcase the launching of new plants.
