Vicar finishes island-wide running challenge
BBCA vicar from Jersey has completed a challenge to run 12km (7.46 miles) in 12 days across 12 parishes.
Reverend Mark Barrett raised more than £1,300 for Dementia Jersey and to help pay for works to make his church, St Andrew's Church, more accessible.
Dozens of people joined the vicar on his runs around the island, which finished on Friday at St Andrew's Church.
He said half the money raised would go to the charity and the other half would be used to improve the church.
Mr Barrett wanted the runs to bring people together across the island.
He said people could be "quite fractured" despite living in a small island and his church tried to create "community events and to bring loads of different people together and regular basis".
"It has been sore and physically tough but there has been so many wonderful people coming out to support it and I have loved that," he said.
