Pilot taken to hospital after plane crash

One person was taken to hospital following a plane crash in West Sussex.

Emergency services responded after the light aircraft crashed upon landing at Adversane, south of Billingshurst, at about 17:40 BST on Monday.

Sussex Police confirmed that the pilot sustained injuries and was taken to hospital.

South East Coast Ambulance Service and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, both at the scene, have been approached for comment.
