Motorcycle rider, 28, dies in wall crash

A 28-year-old man died when his motorcycle crashed into a wall near Belper.

Derbyshire Police said the motorcycle was travelling along Belper Road at about 15:30 BST on Friday when the crash took place.

Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, the force added.

A police spokesperson said no other vehicles were involved, and the road has reopened after being closed while emergency services were at the scene.
