Man pleads not guilty to raping teenage girl

A man has pleaded not guilty to raping a teenage girl in Lincolnshire.

James Savage, 33, from Boston, also denied child abduction and making threats with a bladed article. He is also charged with taking indecent images but entered no plea for this offence.

Lincolnshire Police said Savage, who is also known as Jay Savage, was arrested following reports of a serious sexual assault in the early hours of 17 March.

He is due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court for a hearing on 26 June. A trial date has been set for 14 September.
