Man arrested after report of rape in village

A man has been arrested after an alleged rape in a Kent village, police say.

Officers are carrying out investigations at an address in the Foxborough Hill area of Woodnesborough, near Sandwich.

Kent Police said a man, in his 30s and from the area, had been arrested in connection with the incident. He remains in custody.

The force said it was not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
