Boy, 14, charged with murder over stabbing
Family handoutA 14-year-old boy has been charged with murdering a teenager who was stabbed to death in Battersea, south-west London.
Jamal Coombes, 17, was found fatally wounded after emergency services were called to Glycena Road at about 04:20 BST on Saturday.
The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Highbury Corner Youth Court charged with murder and possession of a bladed article, the Metropolitan Police said.
A boy and a girl, both aged 15, who were arrested on suspicion of murder have since been released on bail. Another boy, aged 15, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody.
