Arrest after spate of vehicle break-ins and thefts
Getty ImagesA man has been arrested after reports of vehicles being broken into in Lincoln.
Lincolnshire Police said residents had reported a man trying the door handles of vehicles parked in Woodfield Avenue, Mildenhall Drive, Epsom Road, Staverton Crescent, Salix Approach, Spirea Approach and Appleby Way overnight and in the early hours of the morning between Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 June.
The force said access was gained to some of the vehicles with items including clothing, cash and sunglasses stolen.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incidents and has been released on bail while inquiries are ongoing.
Police appealed for anyone with relevant dashcam or doorbell footage to get in touch.
