Your snaps of changing skies from meteors to rays
WrightsaycheeseApril is notorious for brining a mixed bag of unpredictable weather and this week has been a real example of that.
Foggy skies have shrouded parts of Tyne and Wear, while Cumbria and County Durham basked in sunshine.
The Lyrids meteor shower reached its peak this week too, with amazing starry displays seen across the country.
While the North East and Cumbria appeared not to be at the epicentre of the meteor shower, some persistent photographers managed to catch it nonetheless.
Here is a selection of our Weather Watchers' captures.
