Group forced entry and stole dog, say police
Kent PoliceA group of people have broken into a kennel and stolen a beige lurcher dog, according to Kent Police.
Officers said it was reported that a group "forced entry" to a farm on Rye Lane near Sevenoaks, stole the dog and left in a silver car between 22:15 and 23:30 BST on 31 August.
"An investigation is under way and police are not ruling out the possibility that this theft may be linked to other similar incidents in the Sevenoaks area," said a force spokesperson.
Local residents and drivers are being asked to check for CCTV or dashcam footage which might help officers with their investigation.
